Embracing raw materials

When the client acquired this space, it was a blank slate ripe for transformation into a minimalist industrial loft. Despite its narrow layout, the soaring ceiling offered a unique opportunity to experiment with colors, materials, and strategically placed furniture, creating the illusion of expansiveness. The design journey began with the raw beauty of the existing concrete walls and floors, which served as the perfect backdrop for the carefully chosen furnishings and casework. These pieces not only added character but also functioned as fluid dividers, guiding the eye through the space. The wood tones, varied yet harmonious, flowed in a gradient, drawing attention along the loft's length. In stark, luminous contrast, the white kitchen cabinets and backsplash, coupled with a pristine white ceiling, captured and reflected light, transforming the once-dull space into an elegant, gallery-like abode, where concrete and light danced in harmonious balance.
